Exclusive to the 1500 TRX, the top of the range is a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine capable of producing a jaw-dropping 720 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. A fourth engine is available, though it is diesel powered, and it is a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel that produces 260 horsepower and 480 lb.-ft. of torque. All of these are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The 2022 Ram 1500 comes in several configurations. Like most pickups in this segment, the 1500 is available in Regular, Extended, and Crew Cab configurations. Coming to dealers this fall, the 2022 Ram 1500 does not yet have an official starting price. Including a destination charge of $1,695, the new Laramie G/T and Rebel G/T models will have MSRPs of $57,175 and $57,070, respectively. For more price-conscious consumers, the base version will start well below that.
