What is the SEMA Show?

Debuting the Jeep CJ Surge Concept
A true battery-electric Jeep 4×4 concept, the Jeep CJ Surge concept vehicle is powered by a custom propulsion system featuring a scalable 400-volt, 200 kW Electric Drive Module, and 24 lithium-ion battery modules. And it’s all enclosed in a custom shell mounted in the rear of the passenger cabin.
SEMA Electrified
As a trade association, SEMA looks down the road for emerging trends in performance and hot rodding, and views vehicle electrification as a modern-day expression of these enthusiast pursuits. At the 2022 SEMA Show, SEMA Electrified offered the industry an opportunity to see where this growing segment might take us in the next five to ten years and beyond. Attendees experienced the surprising technologies that are advancing and redefining the performance aftermarket. The lineup at SEMA show included some incredible custom electric-vehicle conversions and noteworthy parts and products that are currently driving the market.
ADAS Showcase
The SEMA car show 2022 debuted a new, dedicated space for the study of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS)—the SEMA Show ADAS Showcase. The 6,600-sq.-ft. feature area provides attendees with a forum to learn from subject-matter experts, to exchange knowledge and ADAS best practices, and to gain hands-on experience with ADAS tools and equipment.
It also hosted a variety of ADAS-related products for examination and review, and mock ADAS recalibration demonstrations throughout the week will guide Showgoers through the step-by-step process of integrating ADAS protocols into the workplace. The new exhibit aims to assist in member education, to improve industry awareness of ADAS systems and their impact on the aftermarket, and to provide marketing and networking opportunities between buyers and sellers.
