The Best Jeeps to Drive You Into 2021
In 2021, Jeep is introducing all-new models, as well as redesigns of older models. With these new updates, it will be one of the best years yet for Jeeps. The new lineups include crossovers, SUVs, hybrid models, and even pickup trucks.
2021 Jeep Wrangler
Along with various cosmetic upgrades to the Wrangler, the all-new Wrangler 4xe, a Hybrid option, will be available and will feature an electric powertrain. It will include a manufacturer’s estimated mpge of 50 miles and a total driving range of 400 miles. Additionally, Jeep announced the 2021 Jeep Wrangler High Altitude model that takes luxury to the next level. With a dressy look, the Wrangler High Altitude features a full leather luxury interior and premium standard equipment, such as 4G LTE Wi-Fi, a ParkView rear backup camera with dynamic grid lines, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen display.
The regular 2021 Wrangler offers a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 285 horsepower and 360 lb.-ft. of torque, and either a six-speed or eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2021 Jeep Wrangler colors include Black, Granite Crystal Metallic, Sting-Gray, Billet Silver Metallic, Snazzberry Pearl, Firecracker Red, Hellayella, Sarge Green, and Bright White on the exterior.
2021 Jeep Gladiator
While the pickup will only be in its second year of production, the 2021 Jeep Gladiator changes include an available 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine. Producing 260 horsepower and 442 lb.-ft. of torque, this new engine perfectly combines power with fuel efficiency. Additionally, the 2021 Gladiator will feature a TrailCam forward-facing off-road camera on Overland models, as well as option LED headlamps and fog lamps on the Sport models.
The 2021 Jeep Gladiator colors include Black, Granite Crystal Metallic, Sting-Gray, Billet Silver Metallic, Hydro Blue Pearl, Snazzberry Pearl, Firecracker Pearl, and Bright White.
2021 Jeep Compass
Upgraded with modern and stylish features, the 2021 Jeep Compass will receive the brand-new Uconnect5 Infotainment System with a standard 7-inch touchscreen and optional 8.4-inch screen. It will also offer several new models, like the 2021 Jeep Compass hybrid. The Compass 4xe will offer a zero-emission drive with excellent range and easy charging. On the other hand, the regular Compass will feature a 2.4-liter engine capable of producing 18- horsepower and 175 lb.-ft. of torque.
2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Receiving some of the more significant changes, the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee redesign will include size changes, potentially with even three rows of seating, with a longer wheelbase. With a larger rear overhang, the 2021 Grand Cherokee will have more interior room, and it will be upgraded with an all-new 12-inch touchscreen. In particular, the Jeep Grand Cherokee 2021 SRT offers some of the most impressive features. It will have a 6.4-liter V8 engine with 707 horsepower and 645 ft.-lb. of torque for track-ready capability, exhilarating acceleration, and impressive handling.
2021 Jeep Renegade
Like other 2021 Jeep models, the highlight of 2021 Jeep Renegade redesign is a hybrid option. With unique styling, it will feature 16-inch wheels and an elegant front fascia, and it’s performance includes an impressive 230 horsepower and a combined fuel efficiency of 33 mpg. The regular Renegade offers comfortable leg room and plenty of cargo capacity with 50 cubic feet of cargo space. It also offers the option between a 1.4-liter or 2.4-liter engine with 160 horsepower and 185 lb.-ft. of torque and 180 horsepower and 175 lb.-ft. of torque, respectively.
