Best of 2021 Dodge Models
At Ray Chrysler Dodge Jeep & Ram, of course we are excited about the 2021 lineup of Dodge models! From the Challenger to the Durango, not to forget the Charger and the Journey—these are great, reliable, and affordable vehicles and we couldn’t be happier to tell you about them.
Let’s start with the 2021 Dodge Challenger, shall we?
2021 Challenger
The Challenger is the third generation of this tough pony car. Last year Dodge celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Challenger with gold (painted) alloy wheels and a nice “50” logo placed both inside and out, not to mention the shaker hood. For safety features, there are options for
blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, and adaptive cruise control. For power, the SRT Hellcat Redeye features a 6.2L supercharged SRT Hellcat V8 that delivers 797 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque.
2021 Charger
And speaking of tough muscle cars, the Dodge Challenger won’t see any drastic changes for the 2021 model year. There is a Widebody package available with wider tires and Bilstein dampers. Spend a little more for the Scat Pack and SRT Hellcat trims and you’ll see an increase in performance. For your infotainment needs, the Dodge Charger offers a choice of either a 7-inch or 8.4 inch touchscreen system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Some great safety features are available as well. These include adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automated emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and lane-departure warning. Pricing starts at just over $30K for the SXT trim level.
2021 Durango
Maybe there are no muscle cars in your future. That’s OK, Dodge has you covered with the midsize Durango SUV. It’s solid, it’s big, it’s dependable and safety options, such as automated emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control, are available. This is another great Dodge option with pricing starting around $32,000 with a choice of two powerful engines. There’s the 3.6L V6, which is the base, with a 5.7L V8 as the option.
2021 Journey
The Dodge Journey is another great choice in a midsize SUV with two trim levels available: the SE Value and the Crossroad. A 2.4L 4-cylinder engine delivers 173 hp and 166 lb-ft of torque. Start your journey on the highways or the streets of your town with plenty of room for friends and family.
2021 Grand Caravan
The Grand Caravan is the biggest seller in the Dodge lineup and for good reason. What can we say, people love minivans. It’s affordable, starting at $28,000, but the SXT level is a good upgraded option. A 3.6L V6 engine powers its front-wheel drive with a 6-speed automatic transmission delivering 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Stow ‘N Go seats provide up to 140.3 cubic feet of storage space for goodies and gear.
