Ram Introduces New Delmonico Red Rebel this Summer
Looking to spice your driving life up? Look no further than the newly announced Ram1500 color additions. The automaker announced earlier this month that it would introduce two new changes: one hot new color for the Ram 1500 Rebel and a whole line of paint schemes for the top-of-range Ram 1500 Limited.
Ram Truck made the big announcement at this year’s Houston Auto Show. The Ram Rebel 1500 will now be available in Delmonico Red and there will be a whole new line of color-matching options unveiled soon for the Ram Limited.
Delmonico Red will be the seventh color option for the 1500 model. On the flip side, Ram Limited trim levels across the 1500, 2500 and 3000 models will be available with fresh body-colored R-A-M tailgate letters and sidestep instead of the standard old chrome pieces. It’s a welcome shake-up for those Ram drivers looking for something a little different but nothing too extravagant.
“Truck buyers are looking for new colors and features that make a statement and allow them to stand out from the crowd,” Mike Manley, Head of Ram Truck, FCA – Global, said in a recent interview. “Whether it’s the off-road enthusiast appeal of the Ram 1500 Rebel or the luxury and sophistication of the Ram Limited, Ram trucks deliver features and durability that are winning over more and more owners.”
If you’re thinking about scooping up a new Ram Rebel, now is the time. The Ram Rebel is available in Delmonico Red in two-tone (black lower panels) or monotone paint treatments for no extra charge. The Ram 1500 Rebel Delmonico Red can even be ordered with the Rebel Black (black wheels and front skid plate) appearance package if you’re feeling extra spicy.
The Delmonico Red package features a black and gray interior with black anodized bezels on the doors, center console, instrument panel, and gauge cluster trim rings. Delmonico Red owners will also enjoy all-black heated seats with black “Rebel” embroidery highlighted by light slate gray accent stitching. The accent color theme continues throughout the vehicle’s instrument panel, center console lid, doors, and seats.
On the other hand, the Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 Limited trim pickups are now also available in colors including Bright Silver Metallic, Bright White, Brilliant Black Crystal, Delmonico Red, Granite Crystal Metallic, Maximum Steel Metallic, Pearl White and True Blue. Monochromatic R-A-M tailgate letters set the colors off and offer an alternative appearance option compared to the standard bright chrome letters introduced last year.
